This tutorial assumes you
are familiar with your version of PSP and know where your tools are
located. Workspaces can differ, therefore the screenshots and directions
for the location of the tools used may not be accurate in
your workspace. If you have problems finding a particular tool,
use the program's help file and type the tool name into the "find"
window.
Be sure to read my TOU before working this
tutorial.
It has been brought to my attention
that Hassel is actually spelled Hassle. *blushing* I knew that!
lol. So, when you get to that step in
the tutorial, keep that in mind and spell it correctly if you've a mind to
do so : o)

Let's get started....
1. Begin by opening the
magclippingscan-aagm.psp image. Hit Shift + D to duplicate, and close the
orginal. 2. Open the tube you plan to use on this tag. Grab your fill
tool. Pick a color complimentary to your tube. 3. On the clipping
image, add a raster layer. Flood fill the new layer with the color you
picked. 4. Grab your shape tool. Set your foreground color to white;
set your background to null. Use the settings below:

and drag out a rectangle shape
370x168.

5. Go to
Objects>Align>Center in Canvas. Right click on "Vector 1" layer and
convert to raster. 6. Using the text tool with these settings with the
foreground set to null and the background set to white:

***NOTE THE

7. Go to
Objects>Align>Center in canvas. Right click on "Vector 1" layer and
convert to raster. 8. Hide the "clipping" layer. Right click on "Raster
1" layer and merge visible. 9. Unhide "clipping" layer. 10. Rename
"Merged" layer to "curl". 11. Go to Effects>Vizros 4>Curl and use
these settings:

12. Use your magic wand to select
the white corner behind the curl. Hit the Delete key. Deselect. (Ctrl
+D) 13. Go to Effects>3D Effects>Drop Shadow and use these
settings: Verticle= -2; Horizontal= 5; Opacity=80; Blur=15 and color =
black. 14. Minimize this image for a moment. 15. Create a new image
700x700 pixels (we will crop later) using these settings:

Zoom out so you can see the entire
image if you need to. 16. Rename "Raster 1" layer to back. Flood fill
with white. 17. I removed this step :oP 18. Go back to your clipping
image. Activate the layer "clipping" and hit Ctrl + C. 19. Go back to
your new image and hit ctrl+L. Do not move the image. Rename this layer
"clipping". 20. Go back to your clipping image. Activate the layer
"curl" and hit Ctrl + C. 21. Go back to your new image and hit ctrl +
L. Do not move the image. Rename this layer "curl". You can close out
the clipping image now, we are done with it. 22. Open
aagm-lowerbladescissors.psp image and hit Ctrl + C. Close it. 23. On
the new image, hit ctrl + L to paste lower part of scissors as a new
layer. Rename this layer "lower blade".
(These scissor images are
already angled correctly, but you will need to position them. I have
screenshots below to show how you want them positioned.)
Drag the "lower blade" layer below
the "curl" layer and use the mover tool to postion the blade like
so:

24. Effects>3D Effects>Drop
shadow with these settings: H&V=2; Opacity=80; Blur=2; color=
black. 25. Open the aagm-upperbladescissor.psp image and hit Ctrl + C.
Close it. 26. On the new image, activate the "curl" layer and hit Ctrl
+ L to paste the upper blade as the top layer. Rename this layer "upper
blade". Use the mover tool to position like so:

27. Effects>3D Effects>Drop
shadow with same settings in step 24. 28. Copy your tube image and
paste as a new layer on the new image. Postion and resize the tube as
desired. 29. Add a drop shadow with the last used settings. 30. Add
your name and effects as desired. 31. Hide "back" layer by clicking on
the eye icon next to the layers. 32. Grab crop tool and choose the
merged opaque icon. Double click inside the crop outline.

33. Unhide layer. 34. Activate
layer "curl" and duplicate the layer. (Right click on the layer, choose
duplicate.) 35. Drag the "copy of curl" layer just above the layer
labeled "back". 36. Go to Effects>MuRa's>Copies and pull the
arrow under the preview window to "Wallpaper(Rotate)". Click ok. 37.
Lower the opacity to +/- 30. 38. Use a mask of your choice on the
layer.
***TIP ALERT*** Before
doing a final save, you can go to Image ->Image Information and click
on the "Creator Information" tab. In the description field, add the
tutorial url (and other info, such as font used). Then save as a psp
file. That information is saved along with the image. The next time you
say (to yourself, of course...) "I wish I could remember where that
tut is, you will have the information available in the
image itself. Cool, huh?
39. Do a final save in psp
format.
40. Export your new tag as a jpg
and show it off! Nice work :)
I truly hope you enjoyed this
tutorail and have learned something new.
